We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Your initial appointment will consist of a complementary clinical examination, diagnostic photos, and X-rays. We may also take a digital scan for study models of the teeth if treatment is recommended. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan that addresses the unique needs of each patient. After Dr. Chaison has thoroughly examined these records she’ll explain your individualized treatment to you in detail, including how long it will take and we’ll also discuss the cost for your particular case. You’ll understand everything you need to know in order to decide whether to proceed with treatment. We will also answer any additional questions you may have.
We know your time is valuable so here’s how to streamline your first visit:
• Click here to save time at your visit by sharing the patient’s contact information and health history.
• If you would like an estimate of your insurance benefits, bring along your insurance card.
After the first visit, we’ll be ready to schedule an appointment to have your new appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) placed if you are ready to begin treatment. That process usually takes one to two hours. You’ll then see us at regular intervals of four to eight weeks for adjustments, which take about 30 minutes.
Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask you to extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
